I am having trouble believing that it is already time for our trip to Iowa. We leave in a little over a week and I am getting mucho stressed. There are so many things for us to prepare before we drive off. However, I am super-excited. I can't wait to see what God wants to do through our MBC students. I KNOW that God has much for us to do. I truly look forward to loving on all of the children that God brings out of their homes to participate in Day Camp.
One thing I have learned is that when God is at work....Satan is as well. Please begin praying now for our missionaries as they prepare. Ask God to keep them from harm, illness, and discouragement. When God wants to use us, Satan will try anything he can to keep us from furthering the gospel. I refuse to let him keep our students from showing God's love to the people that they will come in contact with.
If our trip to Iowa isn't enough to keep us busy, next week we will begin VBS at MBC. We begin on Monday and most of our students will be leading in many different aspects. I am praying that God blesses the work done by so many with loads of young children. I think it will be a wonderful time to share Christ's love with our surrounding neighborhood. Hopefully we can post pictures of MBC students, in their Hawaiian shirts, participating in various activities during VBS.
There is lots going on and we will try to keep you updated as we work hard to....Know, Grow, and Go.
Nikki

A special Hello to all on the trip! We have been praying for you throughout the day and listening with excitement as you have made your way across the country to beyond St. Louis for the evening. Each one of you have been prayed for today and we will continue to pray for you. Tomorrow during the service, we are setting aside a special time of prayer just for you.
Jim -- I am your prayer partner and Tarcella -- Jana is praying specifically for you. Be certain of our daily prayers.
Nathan -- we are proud of you and can't wait to hear all that is happening this week (a subtle reminder to call home at some point). More than anything, we are both excited that you can be a part of this group and that you are willing to let God use you this week.

Hi All!
Logan it was good to talk to you last night! We are keeping you in our prayers as you prepare to lead Bible study and work with your group of kids.
Randy, thanks so much for filling in for Mike. We are praying for you as well!
Lee-Anna, I am your prayer partner (Terry) and I'm praying that all will fall into place, through God's grace, of course, as you arrive this afternoon. Justin, Eddie is your prayer partner and is remembering you daily as well!
Thanks to all of the chaperones for giving of your time this week, and to you as well, Bob, for driving. It is greatly appreciated!
We are looking forward with great anticipation to see how God will use you in the days ahead. We know He is leading the way!
Take care and enjoy yourselves!

Greetings MBC awesome youth! Trusting and praying that all is well and that you bear much eternal fruit. The Lord is so filled with joy over you and I know He is blessing your endeavors even now. Justin, I am your prayer partner and I am very honored to uplift you to the Lord. Holding you all up in fervent prayer, Love in Christ, Miss Elizabeth
P.S. We love you and miss you!
WHERE Y'AT MBC YOUTS!
Just a word of encouragement to let y’all know we are praying for you here at home while you are there in the Heartlands.
I know if I were in your shoes I would be really excited and a bit nervous about what is expected of me! We are real proud of you for making this trip and sharing your love of Jesus with others. Just remember; if you are doing this to serve God, He will give you all you need to let others know about Him! Dr. Strong gave us a strong “No pun intended!” convicting message from Philippians that hits home with everyone at some time or another and especially with a large group working together.
“Philippians 2:12-16 “So then, my beloved, just as you have always obeyed, not as in my presence only, but now much more in my absence, work out your salvation with fear and trembling; for it is God who is at work in you, both to will and to work for His good pleasure. Do all things without grumbling or disputing; so that you will prove yourselves to be blameless and innocent, children of God above reproach in the midst of a crooked and perverse generation, among whom you appear as lights in the world, holding fast the word of life, so that in the day of Christ I will have reason to glory because I did not run in vain nor toil in vain.”
We know you will be God’s “Shinning Stars” as Dr. Stong encouraged us to be “Punching holes in the darkness” this week as we went out into the world.
Justin - I am your prayer partner this week, and I know you will be able to share your love of Jesus with the 1st thru 3rd graders. Just in all things, be yourself. God’s Word is powerful and true and if you show them you care about them, the Holy Spirit will take care of the rest.
Ronnie - Thanks a bunch for stepping in for Mike Massaro! I know he is bummed about not being able to go, and we are truly grateful that you are able to help us out.
Logan - Mom and I are very proud of you, and we will be praying for you this week! I’ll even mow the Lawn for you!! lol
Katie - Since we are such tight buds, what with the “Bunny slope incident” on the ski-trip and all, I have to tell you – “I thought I knew!!, but I had NO IDEA!!!”
Love to all,
Mr. Eddie & Mrs. Terry
P.S. – Hope y’all get some belly sinkers, doorknobs, and fatcakes while y’all are there.
